Child Locator Devices Give Parents Peace of Mind

12 October, 2009 (19:09) | Child GPS Tracking | By: Admin

The following is a list of 2 different kinds of child locator devices that you can use today. Two with GPS tracking enabled and the other uses wireless technology as you’ll see below…

BrickHouse has a child locator device that will immediately alert you with a loud beeping noise, vibration and directional guidance as soon as your child or loved one wanders past the preset distances you have defined.

The device will “home” in on your child or anyone wearing the “tag” or wristband. As you get closer to them. The directional guidance will get stronger and the beeping will get louder.

The person wearing the band can at any time press the panic button which will send an alert to the person who has the hand held unit.

This locator would be perfect for an outing with someone who has memory issues, a child who has special needs, and anyone with a tendency to wander off. The minute they pass your predefined “safe area” you will be alerted.

More information and videos are available at their website. BrickHouse.com

Child Location Devices – Track Your Kids and Your Nanny

20 October, 2009 (00:32) | Child GPS Tracking | By: Admin

Are you a working parent who has to leave your child with a nanny every day?  Are you skeptical as to what your nanny does with your children after you leave for the day?  If you want to find out where your children really go, then you need a device that tracks all the movements that your nanny does.  Child Location Devices are great for this.  You will be able to find out if your nanny is really taking your child on walks and going to the park, or if she is taking them to the mall, her boyfriend’s house or other areas that you do not allow your children to go to.

Child Location Devices come in a variety of types and sizes.  There are devices that you can literally attack to your child’s bag or stroller.  Your nanny will not even be aware that there is a tracking device with them.  Child Location Devices look very inconspicuous, with some looking like a key chain attached to a bag. Your nanny will never know that you are tracking her activities with your children.  If you want to see where she is, all you have to do is simply call the device and it will send you a detailed map and description of the area of where the device is at.  You will now be able to know if your nanny is as reliable as she claims to be.  You will know if your kids are being well-cared for or if it is time to start looking for a new nanny.

Child Location Devices are a great way to keep your child safe from the harms in today’s society.  If your nanny takes him or her to place where your child does not feel safe, the device can be set off by your child sending an SOS text to you and up to 5 other people so that your child can be found and removed from the unsafe area.

Keep track of your children when they are not with you.  Install a tracking device onto their bags or strollers and keep track of where your nanny takes them.  Don’t let your child fall victim to harm.

How GPS Tracking Works

12 October, 2009 (22:42) | Fleet GPS Tracking | By: Admin

GPS stands for Global Positioning System. It is a U.S. space-based radio navigation system that provides positioning, timing tracking, and navigation services to many – all the time, and in all weather. Via communication between the satellite and a receiver, information on it’s location is recorded and either stored in the unit, sent to a central database, or sent to a computer. There is software that you can use to track in real time or analyze later.

In order for GPS to function properly, you need the satellites orbiting the earth, monitoring and control stations on the earth, and a receiver that the end user can receive the data from.

GPS Receivers come in a variety of shapes and sizes… Units can come in cars, be used in watches, cell phones, and more recently, there are receivers that are designed to be used to aid in tracking people. These receivers are life saving units that help to locate a lost child, or loved one. The concept with all of them are the same, how you choose to implement GPS tracking will determine the unit and company that you decide to use for your needs.

GPS fleet tracking is also useful for business owners. With some units you can track how fast your company vehicle is going, make sure that your employees are doing their job and following the rules when on company time. Many people don’t like the idea of this, but when business owners are being taken advantage of, what other options exist?

Whatever method that you choose, make sure that you are aware of any monthly subscription costs and any extra fees. Some companies will require you to lease or purchase the receiver and then charge a monthly or yearly access fee. The fee usually covers the costs of using the software system that you will be using to access data about your fleet. In the long run, you will probably save money by knowing what your staff is up too.

GPS Tracking For Children – High Tech Help

12 October, 2009 (14:56) | Child GPS Tracking | By: Admin

Our kids are precious, they are innocent and in this day and age, parents need all the help they can get. It’s unfortunate that in today’s world, being a good parent is not enough. Try as you may, things happen, either by accident or by terrible people. I feel that as a parent who is trying to protect their children, and has their best interests at hand – this is a good product for them. Child locator devices, in my humble opinion will not work as a babysitter for your kids.

Keeping your kids safe with GPS tracking for children is probably one of the best things you can do. Let’s face it, we lead busy lives, we work, we travel, and our children can’t always be supervised the way we would like, one hundred percent of the time. This is just the way it is in today’s society.

Many parents are at odds with this technology, saying it steps too far into our private lives and our childrens’ lives. The reality is that your kids will be unattended by you many times throughout their day. They play outside, and walk to the bus, they go to their friends houses to play and you have no control over what happens at that point. It’s in these unsupervised moments that things can go wrong. It doesn’t mean it’s a parents fault. At some point, we all have to let our children have a little freedom and feel like a human being growing up. The facts are there, according to a report from the U.S. department of justice, 797,500 children younger than 18 were reported missing in a one year period of time studied. This is terrible!

So, how does all of this stuff work? Let me tell you, it’s way easier than you think. There are companies that use GPS (Global Positioning System) and your cell phone. So, this means that if you have a cell phone, you can track your children. There are many different styles of devices on the market as well.

You can use a watch style tracking system, you can give them a cell phone with tracking enabled, they can wear a device as a necklace, in the style of a pager, you can put a device in their backpack. There are lots of ways you can implement the device. Now, while you can’t guarantee that it won’t be removed or taken off by your child or someone else, (that is if they know what to look for), Choosing an inconspicuous product will deter against this.
